The Word is OUT - F.A.C.E. is MAKING A DIFFERENCE!! Three NEW Neighborhood Resource Centers (Westside, Springfield and Englewood) have approved funding for both F.A.C.E. program and General Assemblies at 5 new schools for the 2008/2009 school year. Funding from City of Neptune Beach and Funding from City of Atlantic Beach are earmarked again for the fourth year of the F.A.C.E. program and General Assemblies. The Grants are earmarked for elementary schools around the entire city!

The Working Warrior, Inc. has received five different grants for youth programs for the 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 year. The seed was planted and now it has sprouted, making a difference in so many youths' lives.
The Beaches Resource Center approved funding for 7 different General Assemblies; a grant from the San Diego Revitalization fund for children, out of San Diego, California funded three different General Assemblies; Funding from City of Neptune Beach and Funding from City of Atlantic Beach were all approved for the F.A.C.E. program and General Assemblies. The Grants are earmarked for over a dozen elementary schools. The Sheriff's Office approved our funding request for "Power, Polish, and Purpose" for 2007 Juveniles in Jail, 3 different sessions for 24 weeks out of the year.

F.A.C.E. continued again, receiving both a grant from the Beaches Neighborhood Partnership for Protection of Children and from the Brodie Price Fund for children in the new year for 2006.
Also, The City of Atlantic Beach recently awarded The Working Warrior, Inc. children grants to offer the popular F.A.C.E. program to both Mayport and Atlantic Beach elementary schools starting January 2006. Also, included in the grant was earmark for two different Assemblies of "Dont be a bully..be a Buddy!!" at Joseph Finegan and Mayport elementary.
The Sheriff's Office approved our funding request for "Power, Polish, and Purpose" for 2006 Juveniles in Jail.
